Doda

The Israeli rock band Doda was formed in 1980. Doda (Hebrew for "Aunt") was the third band in which Gidi Gov and Danny Sanderson worked together, following Kaveret and Gazoz. They released a self-titled debut album in December 1980 and toured to promote the album in early 1981. Gidi Gov left and the band in the spring of 1981 and they continued to perform without him. Doda went into the studio and recorded two songs for a second album but quickly scrapped the project and disbanded. A 2011 two-CD deluxe set includes the original album plus a live concert recorded in April 1981.
